Wood Fired Chop – John hand cuts this wicked thick center cut, boneless chop and fires it to your preferred temperature.  This weekend’s special chop top is the Bistro’s very own bacon onion jam. – 21

Parmesan Encrusted Whitefish – This heart healthy fish is light and flaky.  It’s coated with a blend of panko crumbs and parmesan cheese, then pan seared ‘til crispy.  A tasty red pepper tartar sauce sits on the side.  Always a favorite.    – 19

St Louis Style Pork Ribs – A full pound of ribs are dry rubbed, baked and smoked in our wood oven.  This savory BBQ sauce is Creole style, a little bit spicy, a little bit tangy, with a touch of sweetness.  You might go home with a “doggy bag” but you won’t go home hungry!    – 21   

Spaghetti Bolognese – John’s house sauce begins with a meat base of ground rib-eye and pork.  Add to that, special Italian seasonings, garden veggies and a blend of red wine and beef stock to make a delicious pasta meal.  Served with garlic toast.    – 14   Or, have it John’s way with jalapeno peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella loaded on top!    – 17

Chicken and Shrimp Fettucine – Pick one or have both, it’s up to you!  A wonderful Carbonara sauce consisting of heavy cream, pancetta, sweet onions, garlic, parmesan and butter coat this delicious pasta dish.     – 21

Chicken Marsala – We lightly flour a free-range chicken breast.  The magic begins when John sautés it with mushrooms and a blend of olive oil, butter, garlic and sweet Marsala wine until it’s reduced to a savory brown demi-glaze.  A sprinkle of parsley decorates this entrée.    18

Enjoy oodles of noodles smothered by John’s meat sauce consisting of a house recipe. Loaded with vegetables, ground beef, sausage, and perfect Italian seasonings, this combination makes a perfect pasta dish.  Served over fettucine noodles.  Served with garlic toast for mopping up that yummy sauce.   Manga!    13

Shrimp Carbonara-

Oh boy! John adds all the good stuff in this dish—cream, onion, butter, pepper, parmesan, and pancetta. He tosses the pasta with linguine and then adds grilled shrimp to the top. Comes with garlic toast. 20

Panko Crusted Whitefish We just can’t keep this off the menu!  A local favorite, this light tasting flaky fish is coated with a blend of parmesan and panko crumbs.   John pan sears it ‘til crispy then serves his special red pepper tartar sauce on the side. –18        

St. Louis Style Spare Ribs – Braised, baked, and grilled these ribs will fall apart in front of your eyes!  With a Hickory Smoked Brown Sugar BBQ sauce. –19

London Broil – This meat is marinated in John’s homemade Italian dressing mix. It is grilled to your preferred temperature then thinly sliced onto your plate. Joining this savory meal is a Cabernet demi-glace loaded with sautéed crimini mushrooms and onions.   20

Spaghetti with Meat Sauce – Enjoy a generous portion of pasta blanketed by John’s “gravy” of ground beef, rib-eye and pork cooked with veggies, red wine and beef stock reduction to make a delicious meat sauce. A side of garlic toast completes this meal.   13  

Apple Cider Pork Chop – One really thick center cut chop, hand cut by John, is char-grilled. A locally produced apple cider is used to create a glaze to top this special chop.   20
