Valentine’s Weekend at Medina’s Bistro

Serving this menu Friday and Saturday nights from 5-8 pm and Sunday night two seatings 4:30-6 and 6:30-8.

Appetizers

Butterflied Trout

From the waters of North Carolina, this trout is lightly dusted with corn meal, pan-fried, and served with a light Champagne lemon beurre blanc. Served w/fresh lemon for extra flavor.   -26

Grilled Pork Tenderloin Medallions

Perfectly grilled pork tenderloin medallions w/ an over-the-top homemade Jack Daniels Dijon cream sauce ladled on top. You will want more!   -27

Chicken FranÇaise

All natural chicken breast thinly pounded, breaded lightly, and sautéed with Cremini mushrooms, capers, lemon, garlic, white wine, and butter.   -20    

Filet Oscar

Hand Cut 10 oz. filet is wood fired to your preferred temperature. Topped w/ grilled lump crab, grilled tender asparagus, & a creamy Hollandaise sauce.   -38 

Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp

Jumbo shrimp are wrapped with an Applewood smoked bacon. Homemade BBQ is brushed on while the shrimp are searing on the grill.  -25

Chicken & Shrimp Parmesan Alfredo

Grilled Shrimp and Chicken accompany this fabulous, made-from-scratch creamy and cheesy pasta Alfredo sauce. Fresh parmesan cheese, fresh lemon, and garlic toast add more perfect amounts of flavor to this already scrumptious dish.   -22

Filet Mignon

Antipasto This appetizer is layered with Capicola ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, red peppers and pepperoncinis with house garlic vinaigrette drizzled on top.   –7.5/9.5

Smoked Trout Dip NC Smoked Trout is used in this creamy dip that is so good you’ll crave it from this day forward.  Served with grilled crostini.   – 8.5

Hand Cut Chop – A generous sized center cut chop is fired to your temperature preference.  This week’s special chop top is a bourbon, brown sugar, and peach chutney glaze.   – 21

Filet Mignon Oscar – This 10oz filet is so tender you can almost cut it with a fork.  Chargrilled to seal in flavor then garnished with crab and asparagus.  A lovely Hollandaise sauce completes this dish.     – 38

Parmesan Encrusted Whitefish – Customers love this fish, it’s so light and flaky.  This filet is coated with a blend of panko crumbs and parmesan cheese, then pan seared ‘til crispy.  The Bistro’s house red pepper tartar sauce sits on the side.    – 19

Atlantic Salmon – This 8oz heart healthy filet is marinated in smoked soy and honey, then it is pan seared and dressed with Asian veggies and sesame oil.  Tartar sauce joins this entrée.     – 22

Spaghetti Bolognese – John’s house sauce begins with a meat base of ground rib-eye and pork.  Add to that, special Italian seasonings, garden veggies and a blend of red wine and beef stock to make a delicious pasta meal.  Served with garlic toast.    – 14   Choose John’s way with jalapeno peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella loaded on top!    – 17

Chicken Mandarin Salad – Marinated in a sweet teriyaki sauce then chargrilled, this all-natural chicken breast is joined with snow peas, carrots, almonds, rice noodles and mandarin oranges creating a delicious Asian salad.  Joined with a sesame ginger vinaigrette dressing.    – 15

NY Strip Steak – A 14 oz., hand-cut, Angus Stockyard steak is a top cut. It is char-grilled to perfection then topped with John’s Gorgonzola cheese sauce.     26

Shrimp Alfredo Tortellini – Get your taste buds ready for this dish! John lightly dusts his homemade Cajun spice on seven large shrimp, grills them in olive oil and places them on a bed of three cheese tri-color tortellini with a delectable creamy Parmesan Alfredo sauce.                                                    22  

Center Cut Pork Chop – One really thick chop, hand cut by John, is char-grilled to your preferred temperature. Asian black cherry plum sauce tops this special cut of pork.     20

Panko Crusted Whitefish A local favorite, this heart healthy, light tasting flaky fish is coated with a blend of parmesan and panko crumbs.  John pan sears it ‘til crispy then serves his special red pepper tartar sauce on the side.     17

Mediterranean Chicken – This all-natural breast is sautéed in extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, chicken broth, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, white wine, butter and garlic. Feta cheese is sprinkled on top to complete this dish.     18
